Overheard in the Classroom #3

[The following was taken from a writing prompt activity. Just imagine a paper with scribbles, frantic eraser marks and a whole lot of spelling mistakes.]

"If you don't clean up the environment, the germs will get out and they will kill you. And then people will die. Because of the germs."

Right you are, kiddo. Right you are. Gotta watch those germs.

  1. Omigosh, I think that kid needs therapy. Obviously has a fear of germs, or has had someone give them the "germs are dirty, germs KILL" speech!

    But it's also sooo true...

  2. HA. that's precious, actually. I don't think the kid needs therapy - i think it's following logic.

The environment is dirty and the earth is dying because of what? Germs! Pollution and germs share a lot in common, I think.... Makes sense.

  7. Classic! Does he carry hand sanitizer with him at all times as well? Perfect case of budding OCD/Germaphobe. :)
