Consdering I'm blathering about it here on the blog, it really isn't a quiet victory at all. In fact, I think I will scream it from the rooftops;
I RAN MY FIRST 5km WITHOUT STOPPING TODAY!
My legs hate me, an hour later I'm still blotchy and don't ask me how long it took, but pah! Those things are beside the point - I did it! Without stopping! Or dying! And with only the occasional shin pain! Excuse me as I do a victory dance of joy. (I'd do a victory lap, but I may drop dead from exhaustion, so dancing will suffice.)
Break it down, now. [shimmies] Happy! Weekend.

Congratulations! I don't think I'd make it through 2km. Happy weekend!
contgratulations! that's fantastic...have a great weekend. you deserve some r&r now.
Woo hoo! You go, girl! :) Congratulations! I can't run 5km without stopping, that's for sure! :)
Wow! Good job!
5m would probably be my limit, given the shape I'm in (mostly round, unfortunately). So...how did you do it? Just keep running more and more each time? Stopping each time it felt like you were going to stroke? Carry a portable O2 tank so you could take sips? :)
I can't even run 100 metres without some sort of physical pain.
Oh wow! That's fantastic, well done. I know how hard running can be and I've never got anywhere near 5k. There's a really good book called 'Running Made Easy' which has some great training tips... but you probably don't even need them now! :)
this is amazing! i'm so proud of you!!! congratulations.
Awesome job Alynda! I must follow suit ... pardon me while I grab my inhaler... lol

Yep, congratulations! I can't do a 5k run without stopping because my ankles hurt.
Well done!! xx
Congratulations!!!! I remember my first. what a feeling of accomplishment.
Time doesn't matter. Finishing does! The times will improve, but if you quit? they never will.
{{{proudness}}}
Awesome! That is something to celebrate!
Also....new design! You're not holding out on me, are you? :)
That is so awesome! I sure couldn't run that far. I keep telling myself that I shoudl **start** running...but, well, it just hasn't happened yet. :)
