I made it!
I'm not particularly awake at the moment, but just thought I would pop online and let you know that I arrived in London early this morning. The first part of the flight was 7 hours to Singapore, then 13 hours from then on. It's a horrid one at the best of times, but is particularly dreadful when you can't breathe.
We caught a taxi home from the airport, where I giggled like a crazy person as we drove past Leicester and Trafalgar Squares, and omg a red phone booth! I'm easily pleased.
It all feels like a bit of a dream, at the moment. The house is gorgeous, the pillows are awesome, and I'm feeling comfortable. Now if I could just wake up for a few more hours and get into the swing of the time zone, things will be perfect.
I'll post more details later when I feel more awake, but in the meantime - did you have an amazing Christmas? Since I missed mine, you'll have to fill me in on yours.

Hooray for a safe trip! I am a bit delayed on sharing about my Christmas, but it was a day alternating between eating and sleeping, so I can't complain. :)

i spent part of my christmas travelling too since i had to work today. yuck.
Excitement! Yeaaaaaaa!
So happy you made it to London safe and sound! And you have every reason to be giggly...you're with your boy in a new city! How very exciting!!
Glad you made it one piece! Was it a nice, tearful reunion? :) My Christmas was ok -- 4 gatherings with family, lots of food, presents, etc. Back to the grind now.

Merry Christmas, Aly! Glad to hear you got there safely. Get some good sleep :)
Good pillows are a good sign. I'm glad you made it.
Oh, I'm so excited! It's like I'm in London ... except I'm not! I can't wait to hear about all the wonderful things you will experience :)
Glad you survived the trip. I once took a plane from Chicago to Hong Kong - freakin' fifteen hours! bah! They have GOT to invent a better way to do this whole traveling thing.
Yay! You made it safe and sound (no, that's not a foghorn, that's just Alynda with a stuffy nose...kidding, kidding!). My Christmas was good, DH got me a lovely cert for a massage (which is just what I need after spending 5 days with the in-laws!) and all the presents from the in-laws can be exchanged, so no worries there! Oh, and I got drunk. Heee.
I MISS YOU ALREADY

Hahah I like the change of your header pic. Belated Merry Christmas to you! I didn't do much for mine - went out drinking the night before and recuperated on the day. :)
So glad you made it there safely. I must say, I will miss your posts being almost an entire day ahead of mine.
Get some rest but be sure to post pictures of your new home soon!
Yay! You made it! Hope the makeout session was awesome. hahahah. Gosh I am so up in your business, sorry! :)
I'm glad you got there safely. The new layout is awesome - very fitting! It must have been fantastic to see J again!
yay aly! :D *waves franticly*
it sure is weird knowing you're in another country....I miss you :( but oh my gosh you're gonna have so much fun ^_^
Crikey. You're on the other side of the world.
It feels weird for me so it must feel a million times more weird for you.
The best feeling is that in the end, it only takes a day, and you are in another place, on the other side of the world, and it makes you wonder...why doesn't everyone do this?
Great to hear from you...
Yay, glad you made it and love the house and pillows! :D
You're a lot closer to me now! :)
switching time zones is a bitch! When I went to Australia there was like a 14 hour time difference. It took me a week to adjust...
