I love LOLcats. I love LOLdogs. I love all the LOLanimals in between.
I think the reason they jump out at me so much is because most of the images featured are just brilliant - because they're cute, spontaneous or simply wonderful photographs.
I usually start my morning by checking out the cute critters while I eat my cornflakes. For the most past, you'll find me awwing with the sappiness, squeeing over the cuteness or just plain giggling over the craziness. The captions really do top it all off, so if the caption is lame? I'll skip it fairly quickly and keep searching for the funnies.

The fact that the captions are written the way they are is fairly unique to the pictures - and I'm all for it, definitely. But I'll tell you what drives me absolutely mad? The way that the comments are written... all in LOLspeak. It's cute on the picture, but the fact that people are taking the time to talk like idiots in the responses, well, it's just weird. And annoying. And irritates the crap out of me for no particular reason.
Your challenge today, should you choose to accept it, is to leave a reply completely in LOLjibberish. Let's see how long it takes before our brains explode into mush.

I love LOL cats too. Did you see the "Purrito"? It is currently my favorite. That blog manages to crack me up every day too and just like you it is one of the first sites I see every morning.

Hmm I'm not so clever at the LOLspeak (though I am absolutely OBSESSED with those sites). I've found myself using the phrase "Oh hai" a lot recently. I wonder if my real-world friends get it?!
Right now, Smalls is sleeping in a patch of sun on the floor. I imagine if I took a picture and LOLdogged it, the caption would be "I can has suntan?"

Oh there’s a LoL speak & I thought it was just a bunch of dyslexic like me who just couldn’t be bothered with spell-check, as that’s kinda what my stuff looks like before I decode it & I try & make sense outa it for the rest of the world! Some of those pics are just so darn cute! Seeya hugya *G*

I LOVE LOL dogs! How could you not? Its too funny. There was one that was a wizzard, looked just like one of my kiddos.

ROFL, Alynda, I used to be one of those commenters, until I realized just how time consuming it was to think in LOLspeak and then type it. I have since given up, and now just enjoy the pictures for their own sake.
Although I do still sometimes speak in LOLspeak to my own amm-in-uls.
I cannot talk/write/think in LOL speak but somehow I can understand it *LOL*

For some reason this post made me think of that Cingular/ AT&T commerical with the girl who talks to her mom in text. My favorite is when she said, 'OMG! INBD!' I think it's hilarious.
