Full Steam Ahead.

It's been nice to have a few days off from the blogging scene. Nice, but completely bizarre. It's become second nature to get in a post before bed, to check my emails at work and well, just to blog. Since my little break, a few things have happened;

  • We celebrated two birthdays, eating out at French restaurants both times.

  • J & I watched an entire season of Grey's Anatomy re-runs.

  • I exercised three times, ate well, and still turned out bigger than the week before.

  • Jason organised a last minute trip away this long weekend - we're going to Denmark! Copenhagen to be precise, which should be great fun.

  • I cleaned. Alot. Including the entire freezer. Not pretty.

  • And as of next week, we are going to have a new edition to our family . . . more on this one later. (I'm so excited, I can't even stand it.)

So there is lots going on over here; what's been happening with you while I've been away for this (whopping) five days? I've missed you guys, you know.

  8. Denmark sounds like a lot of fun! I considered studying abroad there.
    Are you getting a kitty kitty? If so I'll start thinking of names for you (I love naming animals, I'm weird!).
    My cat is going to the vet tomorrow to get her tail docked- she has nerve damage to the base of her tail and her tail is pretty much dead. =(

  11. The reason you could be bigger with the exercise is that you are developing stronger muscles and muscle weighs more than fat. So even though you are losing fat through exercise, you could have some weeks where you gain a little weight due to increased muscle mass. That's a good thing!

    The fact that you are exercising and eating well counts for way more than the numbers on your scale. Go Alynda!

  16. A new addition?? Exciting!!! Lets see, all weekend I unpacked and cleaned our new house. My boyfriend was out of town and I wanted to surprise him with a clean, neat house (we just moved in together) and dinner when he got home. He got home last night and he was so happy! Yay!
