Oscar is growing at a tremendous rate, that's for sure. It's not as though his features are changing, but more like he's simply growing into them. He has the sweetest little face, and no matter how old he is, I know that won't change.
There are lots of things he's becoming able to do, though - things that are amusing but also somewhat frightening. Like how he's suddenly super interested in what is outside the slightly open window. Like how everything that is not tied down is fair game. And like how he's suddenly discovered how to jump on to high surfaces ...
And this, my friends, is why Jason is no longer allowed to leave drinks on the table.
(Approximately three seconds after I took this happy snap, Oscar managed to knock the entire glass over, coating himself and the floor in water. Did I mention he hates water?
Kittens are much like kids. You must remove all things they like to get into. And, also, they don't clean up after themselves. Ha!
ReplyDeleteI'm with Kristie, kittens and puppies are so much like children, baby proof everything and then you just have less to clean!
ReplyDeletei love Oscar
ReplyDeletei miss you and jase
*sigh*
Haha, I've seen Fizz do that before. Although his head isn't as tiny. I want to snuggle against Oscar's belly, he just looks so soft... and I'm in love with his white mittens.
ReplyDeleteawww he is a cutie! does he nibble your toes when you're sleeping?
ReplyDeleteMy one cat LOVES water.
ReplyDeleteOne time I left a drink on the table with a straw and she wanted the straw so she batted the straw on to the ground, knocking the whole full glass down on the ground. I was not pleased.
KITTY!
ReplyDeleteSo cute! Gah.
I want to squish him. Not in a bad way.
Good squish, I promise.
Haha, that picture is so ridiculously cute, I had to comment. Only comment so far on my trip!
ReplyDeleteSend him to me, please?
You must have so much fun taking pictures of him. I know I would.
ReplyDeleteUgh, this is one of my cats' most annoying habits - the need to stick their face/head/paws in any drink left out. Of course, Oscar makes it cute because he's so tiny he could almost fit in the glass!
ReplyDeleteYou would think that they would learn from the water experience, but no...
ReplyDeletethat is the cutest photo! nice balancing act..haha.
ReplyDeleteOh, that is hysterical!
ReplyDeleteOh, he is SO cute!
ReplyDeleteWe've soaked so many things that way! You get better about leaving things out over time, but every once in a while you get careless and then the cat tips a full glass of water over on your computer. :(
ReplyDeleteHee! I love those little white paws.
ReplyDeleteHaha so cute. Yeah Phill and I don't touch anything that's been left unattended for more than a minute or so, because it's likely that Puddy has shoved her head into it or sat on it or knocked it around. That's what you get for taking in a cat. :P
