If I had to choose a moment from our wedding day which left me reeling emotionally, it would be our private dance.

I first heard about the idea from fellow Bee bloggers, Mrs. FroYo & Mrs. Elephant. I fell in love with the thought of spending some personal time with my brand spanking new hubby during the precious last seconds of our wedding day and the idea worked perfectly with our event conclusion. After our last moments partying with our guests, our MC cleared the room for us. Our bridal party gave us a few final hugs before heading downstairs to get our send-off ready. The only people left in the room were our videographer and our photographers. And us.It was easy to choose a song for this dance. We wanted one that we loved. One that was as romantic and as sappy as we wanted. One where it didn't matter if our guests would 'know' it, or would care what it was. This one was just for me and my husband. The lights were dimmed. The piano acoustic started. Jase and I held hands, and we danced. Press play and follow along in pictures, if you'd like:
Till my body is dust, till my soul is no more - I will love you, love you

Till the sun starts to cry, and the moon turns to rust - I will love you, love you.
But I need to know, will you stay for all time, forever and a day?
Then I'll give my heart, till the end of all time, forever and a day.
Till the stars fill my eyes, and we touch the last time - I will love you, love you.

It was around this point that the tears started. And soon, after some snuffles and some laughter, our private dance was over.I remember looking around at the room, filled with all of our carefully planned decorations and projects, looking beautiful but looking 'used' - with half drank glasses of wine on tables, chairs untucked, and napkins unfolded. The party was over, but the marriage was just beginning.

Let's start at the very beginning - it's a very good place to start.
Our wedding rehearsal went by in a flash.
We finished off our last minute projects at home.
I had some girly time the day before the wedding.
I checked into the bridal suite and spent the evening alone.
A prank call woke me up... to my wedding day!
The girls had their hair and make-up done.
The boys relaxed and took it easy playing pool.
It was finally my turn to get beautified!
I put my dress on & became a bride.
My bridesmaids and I rush, rush, rushed to the church & arrived early!
The wedding began with a processional...
Our guests waved us out of the church with our home-made ribbon wands.
We took some bridal snapshots in the wind and rain.
I took a few moments with my new husband, just he & I.
Our bridal party posed with us as the daylight began to fade.
We relaxed in the bridal suite.. and I got sewn into my wedding dress
All of our wedding details came together beautifully.
The Jaguar bridal party made their way into our reception...
And on the way there, I took a tumble & landed on my butt!
We were spoiled with gorgeous speeches from our loved ones.
Mr. Jaguar & I snuck out to take some evening portraits.
We got tangled up in champagne toasts & cut our lovely cake.
Our first dance, to 'You and Me', was a bumbling success.
We got our slow dance on & opened the floor with a little jazz.
The party started & our guests put on their dancing shoes!
Our wedding celebrations continued with lots of fun shenanigans.
