The trigger last night was as easy as pie. After two rounds of injections, I've discovered an easy spot on my tummy.
I wonder if tomorrow will hurt as much as it did the first time around? I'm going to make sure I mention the fact that the sedation didn't work - but I don't know what else they can do.
Have my eggs grown since Friday? I don't know. I'm bloated, I'm tired, I'm tender. But I'm also being realistic. Even though there were 4 large ones, that doesn't necessarily mean all will contain eggs. I guess time will tell.
Hubby has a cold, so I'm now worried that things might not be so great with his part of the deal.
I'm going to load up my new Kindle (huzzah - an early birthday pressie!) with some books for the waiting around tomorrow pre & post-retrieval. I need more suggestions. Any ideas?

Your eggs have grown, they will do there thing. Drink warm water. Think positive, read positive.....not sure if you can find any Chinsee medicine books with positive affirmations to read. Don't have a kindle so not sure what is available.
You will do well.
Vampire Academy Series. There's no babies or pregnancies in it. Pure escapism
My fingers are crossed that all 4 big follicles have good eggs, plus maybe a surprise or two. I recommend loading your kindle with a good mystery, something to make you laugh or some fluff. Which do you prefer? I liked The Flavia de Luce series (light, easy, mystery) or anything by Denise Mina (dark mystery), When You Look Like Your Passport Photo, It's Time to Go Home by Erma Bombeck (non-fiction, humor), and A Discovery of Witches (fluff). Also, I loved The Name of the Wind (young, adult).
Good luck!
I hope things go well for you and wish you best of luck!
I am so hoping that you have big, healthy eggs and super gorgeous embryos. You can do this, girl!
I recommend "Let's Pretend This Never Happened." Laughter helps, right?
Happy Pre-Birthday and Pre-Retrieval! His cold shouldn't affect much since those guys have been in production for 3 months. I think you're going to have more than 4 tomorrow and I hope you've got some mature ones in the mix! I hope you're feeling good and have some good news soon!
You made it!! Hope those eggs continued to grow and your retrieval goes wonderfully :)
